To know me is to know I love to travel, eat and take photos, although not always in that order.   I have had the extreme good fortune to travel to some amazing places: 52 countries and counting with Russia, the Galápagos and Oman my most recent destinations.

When I am not on the road, I am researching, dreaming about and planning my next adventure. I am never without a camera (as long as my iPhone 6s counts), and look forward to sharing my photos as well as my restaurant, lodging and sightseeing recommendations with travelmagnolia readers.

  1. I am envious that you have been to so many countries! It must be wonderful to be able to travel so much 🙂 I hope that one day I will be able to continue traveling as well (I try to tell myself I’m still ‘young’)! Looking forward to reading and seeing more of your adventures.

    1. Thanks Inidna! I hope you are able to continue traveling as well! I had the good fortune to live overseas (in Indonesia) for 3 1/2 years which enabled me to travel all over Asia. Now that I am an “empty nester,” it is easier to travel and I am taking advantage of it.

  4. Your travel exploits are much appreciated. You seem to know your way around a camera phone or the more professional kind, so thanks so much for sharing. I sense an excitement in you, which is a super fantastic way to go from one adventure to the next. Plus, you plan ahead. I’m sure this only heightens your excitement. Seeing places in person can’t be beat in my book. Sharing with your readers who may not be able to travel as extensively as yourself is very kind. Your photographs draw me in, and I’m probably not alone. Safe travels!
